Netomnia

Anyone heard of these or had experience with them ?

We got letters the other day to day they are installing "Full Fibre" to our street.

As best I can tell they provide the actual broadband packages branded as YouFibre and/or Brsk.

They are an independent network compared to openreach. I think only youfibre deal with them. Unlike most others they offer symmetrical speeds. I am moving house and thinking of getting them at the new place.

They also have very aggressive marketing.

have you seen Brillbands offers? they only offer 900meg and if you are in a symmetrical area you get that if OR then obviously not but the price is fixed for the whole contract

According to that its not Virgin looking to buy, but Telefonica and Liberty Global, who also own Virgin & O2.

My mate's been with Youfibre (via Netomnia) and swears by it. Never a problem from day 1.

Interesting You fibre say they're currently building there network in my area and so is Cityfibre, are they both related and share the same network?

I've gone from only have VM for high speed to getting FTTP with Openreach, CityFibre currently in the planned stage. No mention of You fibre on https://bidb.uk/ though.

Edit - YouFibre has partnered with Cityfibre to expand their network.

On the flip side, a sizeable portion of Netomnia’s customer base will have chosen them for their faster speeds, lower pricing and to escape from legacy incumbents like Virgin Media O2 and their cycle of inflation busting mid-contract price hikes. Suffice to say that most of the feedback we’ve seen from earlier reports suggests that many subscribers will be deeply unhappy with VMO2 gaining control.
We'll just have to wait and see.
