If you look online it tells you what most meows mean. Apart from the obvious like mating calls and 'you're stood on my tail',they are usually a greeting, a complaint, a request or expression of confusion.

Sorry, but despite the name, whale sharks are not related to whales - like sharks, they're fish, not mammals. They are beautiful, though.
