If you havent seen this ...... dont bother. :erm:

Its so bad, I almost fell asleep before the end of the 1st episode. :sleep:

I tried the 2nd episode hoping it would get better. It didnt. :(

The reviews for it are generally poor, tho most say the finale is decent, so I may just take a peek at that next week.

Disney dumped the whole 6 episodes in two sets of 3, you get the impression they had little hope for it, and just wanted it out of the door and out of the way.

I watched 2 so far. Its watchable and not terrible.

I tend to ignore more reviews or online chatter as people have automatically set their phasers to dei and hate just because.

Disney have been doing a few episodes at once for many shows lately, basically covering an arc or a certain part of the story. Andor S3 and Daredevil reborn are two that did it that way.

Oh its woke as hell, I think every member of the gang ticks a DEI box, but thats nothing to do with my views - its just as boring has hell. :zzz:

Yeah the world ain't all white. People need to realise that diversity is normal and not some box ticking.

Are the gang 32% White, 27% Black, 30% Hispanic, 7% Asian ?
(There are 7 of them, so thats roughly 2 White, 2 Black, 2 Hispanic, 1 Asian).

Another search states about 7.5% of Chicago are LGBT (7.6% in the US as a whole) so in any group thats roughly 1 in 13.
In a group of 7, the chances are 50/50 that even 1 member would be, but of course, thats not the case in Ironheart (or most TV show these days).

The problem with DEI is not that it exists, but that its out of proportion.
Its forced (Yes, Box ticking !) something you seem to constantly bury your head in the sand about, and ignore.

(Btw, this also completely ignores the whole point that I made, the issue with this show is its just dull). :sleep:
