Emergency call button

I have fallen down twice in the last 2 weeks, and fear it will happen again, finding someone to lift me up is a problem. would anyone here recommend a company that offers this service by buying a call button with extra button for Mr T.

Check with your local Council - they may supply a Telecare package for this.

We used Leeds City Council’s package for SWMBO’s mum, and it was very good.

Can't help with a recommend as I'm not in your area but my neighbour uses Careline365 via our Council and I believe they cover most areas, she has been told not to worry as they will ensure her button still works once her BT landline switches over sometime before 2027.

Who ever you look at most, at the moment, can still use a landline phone to relay the emergency emergency call but do make sure make sure they are geared up to use a digital phone line when your area switches over.

My VM has gone down a couple of times this year and it's annoying enough when I can't use my VoIP phone but it could have been a disaster if I needed to use a emergency help button.

Some are available that will use VoIP but also have an inbuilt sim card which will work over the strongest signal available, which may? also cover you if you need help when you are away from your house.

I had one for my dad, but it was arranged for me, it has an inbuilt sim so didn't rely on my home network.

Have you thought about getting a phone case that you can put around your neck like a lanyard

My late Mum used a Council system. But she stopped using it when it became payable, and not cheap!

I have Careline. They came in extremely handy when I lost my key - they had a copy and got it to me ASAP.
