Sky Stream Opinions
Hello,
I stopped working for VM a few years ago, and lost my staff discount. I have stuck with them, but now I am considering my options. I can get a lot more for my money with Sky Stream, basically their top package plus sky sports and Netflix premium for around £70 a month. I am currently paying around £80 a month for VM with no sky sports, plus Netflix on top. Skys FTTP package will be slightly slower than my VM connection (think it was 150 vs 250), but I really wouldn’t notice. Would also be 1 STB from sky, compared to 2 from VM, but my second VM box hasn’t been switched on for over a year. Before I pull the trigger, just wondering what people’s opinions were on the Sky Stream platform? Thanks |

I much prefer Sky Q as the box records and stores downloads on it. Where as the stream rely on catch up and on demand services.

Yeah I wouldn’t mind still being able to record, but it’s being phased out across the board isn’t it?

I think its hard(er) to get now if you dont already have it, but its not being phased out.
