Probably best known as George Roper in "Man about the House" and its spin-off, "George and Mildred".

I remember liking George and Mildred, although I was so young when it was on I couldn’t tell you anything about it (except I think I assumed they probably lived somewhere near Terry and June, and maybe even knew them, seeing as they all lived in my TV) :D

He was a fantastic actor and his comedy timing was superb. From an era when comedy was funny without having to revert to swearing. RIP George.

Watched many of his sitcoms when l was growing up.
