Saw him at the AAA Indoor Championships at RAF Cosford in 1975 - we trainees were helping out by general gopher-ing, and we would move the rope divider supports by rolling them by the long pole that was attached to the very heavy round weight at the base.
He used one in each hand for waming up… |

Geoff looked like a natural athlete rather than steroid "enhanced". In World's Strongest Man, his passion to be the best was based on natural ability and 'fire' within.
