HD case suggestions.
I've stripped my old pc and I'm left with the hard drive - a WD 1TB sata/64mb wd1003fbyz to be exact.
I want to format it and use it as spare external storage on my son's xbox. I've done this before with 2.5 HD which I've found online for around a tenner or less but for this drive obviously, it's an inch bigger but the prices jump up (IMO) disproportionately, for example, this is the cheapest I could find: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SABRENT-enc...4&gad_source=1 I'm not bothered about data transfer speed but does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives? |
Re: HD case suggestions.
you could get a docking station for about 20 quid does the same thing and if he needs more storage later you can just buy a drive and swap em

Re: HD case suggestions.
My PC has an external SATA port. I did have an external casing that could take a drive with power supply and cable to that port.
