Working out energy bills

Ok, I'm trying to do a spreadsheet of my energy bill. (no smart meter here)

I need excel to tell me if my day rate of £0.29.09p and times this by the number of units 299 and times the together it will tell me it should cost roughly £88 for the month.

I can do £0.29p, but not £0.29.09p

Can anyone solve this so it will show £p?

All I do is set that value 29.09, and divide the multiplied result by 100 for £.

You can format cells to display how you want as well (inc dp's) so I display it as 29.09p
