Pre Contract Documents
 
Hi, I've recently had an email form Virgin offering me a new deal for my services. I clicked on it to see what the price was that was being offered but didn't click accept. I have now received some 'Pre Contract Documents' that look a lot like I have accepted the deal. As usual customer service was no help when I contacted them.


Anyone else ever had these Pre Contract Documents and is it anything I need to worry about?


There is nothing showing in my account about any pending changes either.

Don' t think it means you've agreed to anything yet. Very unlikely to be the best deal you'll get either, just the one they want you to have.

I opt out of marketing and don't get any of this cobblers.

If I were you I'd pose the question over on the VM community forum and someone could check for you. I rang for a new deal which I accepted and received the pre-contract documents then in short order got the welcome to your new deal email. My online account doesn't reflect any of these changes and hasn't shown an up to date contract on it for years.
Edit...just checked and the account is now actually up to date in terms of contract and package (for the first time in many years).
