Can't see were to post this ! Telephone password

As always when I call get asked for letters from a password. Found we're to change it , (have no idea what it is !;) it asks for a e mail address that doesn't belong to Virgin , fine . Seems to suggest virgin e mail will no longer will work . Hope I am mistaken but would like it confirmed

Unless something has changed it's if you're accessing your VM email on a new device or with new third party software (i.e.anything apart from using vm webmail).

I believe they ask you to have a non virgin email for your account so you cant get locked out of it if you forget your password. Otherwise it would send the reset to an email you cant access (becasue you need a reset !) Pretty sure this has been the policy for quite some time.

Sorry I tend to agree with you. I am not sure what this has to to with the memorable word used to speak to an agent. I thought it was the word that was selected years ago. Not the password that gets me in to the ntl emails. this the instructions When logged in click on Account Settings > Account Details > scroll down to Telephone Security Details (memorable word) > and then click on Edit this asks for non virgin address

Nothing directly at all, they are separate things.
However, if you cant remember it, and/or want to reset it, they need to establish your identity other ways, maybe thats one of the questions they ask you.
Its not really clear from your post who asked you this, or in what context.

Can see how to reset. What has a non virgin email address to do with it. More importantly would I lose the one that I would normally use ,ie Joe blogs @ NTlworld.com seems to suggest it would be lost.
