Is there such an addon to stop ads on Chrome or Opera for Youtube?

I use uBlock Origin on Firefox, I think there is a version for Chrome as well. There are guides on YouTube how to set it up.

I use AdBlock Plus, plus Opera does its own thing too. Youtube has been giving me countdowns to when they will block content. Then nothing happens. I suspect they are bluffing.

I just pretended to live in India for 10 minutes and pay for premium at a cost of around £1.15 a month

yeah but you get other perks with premium I do not mind throwing them a reduced amount. I have a Turkish Netflix account too

I use Skrill virtual mastercard to pay YouTube premium mad thing is google pay with the same account has my visa attached but had it years . Netflix had set up likely 8 years with no questions asked

If you use a VPN set it to Albania, or Myanmar or Kazakhstan and you'll get no adverts. Albania works a treat for me using Surfshark.

I never watch youtube on my PC. It's always my android tablet or phone.

I use a nodded app called revanced. Used it and the previous app called vanced for many many years. No adverts and lots of other settings like hiding shorts, skipping intros and sponsor spot in videos. Changing the layout and lots of other little UI tweaks you can enabled.

Not easiest to setup and install but once it's done it works perfectly.

UBLock Origin. The only one to use in my opinion.

Agreed it works fine for me as well
