Eco mode

New box set to eco mode,this morning could not get it to start up via remote, ended up switching box off at mains and switching on again, clearly not right. Changed settings so no longer a problem ,just wondering what I was doing wrong. :confused:

My box doesn't always come out of eco mode on the first press of the remote. I thought it meant poor batteries, but the box actually warns you when the batteries are low.

Go into Settings->Devices, and make sure the remote is paired to the box

It is / was , strangely the box died 24 hrs after engineer set it all up , call centre said it was not activated :confused: seems to be all well now ,touch wood :D
