New firmware update SH4
 

My internet has been going offline everyday early morning since the last few days and today I noticed there has been a software update.

Standard specification compliant : DOCSIS 3.1
Hardware version : 11
Software version : AR01.04.092.09_071423_7248.PC20.10.LG.X2

Not something I look at much these days (the HUB GUI) but seems yours is newer, I could force an update via Pinhole reset if it is there in my area.

Got the update jsut now, it rebooted itself 3 times.

Are these updates meant to be automatic,or do you have to search them out?

Updates to modems are usually automatic but you maybe able to get it sometimes by doing a manual reboot.

Sometimes you need do a pinhole reset to force it if the update file is available in your area before VM push it to you.

Did a normal reboot (powered it off 2-3mins) and got the new Firmware.
