He was ok, not what I would call brilliant.
Then again, I didnt care much for "Friends" and all its hype.

Still, 54 is far too young an age these days, RIP :(.

I also liked him in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and West Wing (both Aaron Sorkin shows).

Friends is one of my go to time fillers.

Saddened by this as he was only my age. He was also a troubled soup like me. Kinda hope for his loved ones it is an accident and not self inflicted

I think people only really saw him playing the quirky best friend foil to Joey in Friends and forgot what a versatile actor he was, as underlined by his excellent appearances in the excellent West Wing.
