Unable to get the footy on SS Red button
Dunce time again board members :)
I have Sky sports on my VM package, and Wednesday night there were some Chamionship games available on the Red button, one I wanted to watch. So I switched to one of the channels showing EFL and then pressed my Red button on both my remotes at different times but all that happened was a partial Red screen showed up temporarily, but without showing any games available. I'm sure that I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what. I am not sure why I have 2 remotes, the main one operates the VM box etc and I suppose the second one is for my LG smart TV. Any tips welcome. :) |

Red button issues with Sky Sports on VM are long standing

Re: Unable to get the footy on SS Red button
No issues on Wednesday evening for me. After pressing red button did you not get a prompt at the bottom of your screen?

Re: Unable to get the footy on SS Red button
If you have V6 or TiVo, you then need to press the 'Info' button to make the menu pop up.
If it's a TV360, press the "3 dots" [...] button instead |
Re: Unable to get the footy on SS Red button
spiderplant Many Thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow.
1701 I got a message which said something about go back to menu, so I pressed the back arrow on my LG remote and the Guide button on my other remote without success. I am sure I can now suss it out after the help from BM's. |
Re: Unable to get the footy on SS Red button
Yes it's a rubbish prompt. Spiderplant has explained it very well.
The sky coverage is not great.... no replays and scant commentary |
Re: Unable to get the footy on SS Red button
Just a quick update, I put on a SS red button channel tonight, pressed the red button on my LG remote and the window with 4 options to watch came up straight away.
So as Gavin D said, Wednesday night was a Sky Sports/VM red button glitch. Thanks for the input Guys. |
Re: Unable to get the footy on SS Red button
Closing this as it appears resolved.
