Mobile Power Bank

Hi Everyone

My mother-in-law has managed to find herself in hospital, so Mrs G is putting in some serious hours as her mother has dementia so isn't having a good time.

Our old power banks are a good 6 or 7 years old and past their prime, so bearing in mind how some dodgy ones like to burst in to flames, does anyone have any hands on experience?

I have a load of Worx batteries as I like their power tools so I bought an adapter that turns one into a powerbank with 2 USB type A. I know it is unlikely you have Worx but you may have similar

I bought an Anker Powercore 20100 7 years ago that’s still going strong - it isn’t very heavily used but it’s saved us on family days out many times. There may be a more up to date version of it now but the model is still on sale.

20,000 mAh capacity will charge an iPhone about half a dozen times before you need to recharge the power bank. It’s far from the lightest though, weighs about as much as a can of beans.
