Re: Mirrorless Digital cameras
I would suggest say the Nikon and Canon camera groups of Facebook, the people there know there stuff.
I have a Nikon D5600 (not mirror-less) |
Re: Mirrorless Digital cameras
Changeable lenses? Rechargeable? Autofocus?
Canon EOS R3 Mirrorless Digital Camera with RF 24-105mm f/4L IS Lens + EF-EOS R mount adapter - £6,090.00 :shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked: |
Re: Mirrorless Digital cameras
A very popular and mirrorless currently is the Sony a7 iii
I've not yet made the jump to mirrorless, and as with Hom3r am still using a DSLR (Canon). The clunk of the mirror moving is still very satisfying and after a large investment over the years in Canon's USM lenses and other equipment it's going to be hard to move away from EOS, but I do want to make the move after 15 years of using them. The Sony seems like a really good choice. Take a look at Flickr's Camera Finder for some examples of images https://www.flickr.com/cameras/ Quote:

Re: Mirrorless Digital cameras
I am looking to replace my 40D but I think it's my main lens that is faulty so that also needs replacing. I still would favour DSLR so a 90D is my first choice but no fixed on Canon. I do prefer the optical viewfinder though and I like something a bit bigger to fit my mitts.
Hasselblad is nice but I need to replace my wife's car before I consider one of those. |
Re: Mirrorless Digital cameras
I would get one that would give the best depth of field or some people call it micro-contrast images.

Re: Mirrorless Digital cameras
I would add that it depends a lot on the type of photography you want to do. For example, taking photos of jewelry would require a macro lens and viewfinder. Sports would require a camera like the Nikon D4s or D5 that can take many fast high quality images in a short time. I'm not sure how a mirrorless camera would perform for these tasks.

Re: Mirrorless Digital cameras
I've been advised if doing anything fast moving i.e. sport or vehicles/planes then don't both its no good as they are not as responsive unless anyone knows different.
