So the so called lionesses, wouldn't meet the people that came to the airport to see them. What great role models. Showing there true colours, ducking behind wall:D

Fans waited in the terminal to greet the team but they left without going through the arrivals area.

BBC Sport understands this is the normal process for the men's and women's team to exit an airport.

The Wales rugby team arrived on foot at the stadium the other day. Fans were bemused but delighted.

National sporting teams e.t.c usually don't come out in arrivals, don't speculatively go to the airport if they've not announced they'll come out to visit fans.

They've just come home from a long haul flight. I'd leave them to get on with their lives.
Fans have had a whole world cup to catch up with them if they wanted to.

My red top suggested that it was the FA representatives that escorted them out of the side exit.

Heard it said that they did it for equality reasons, the men do it so they have too, bit of a difference imho, iirc the only mens team return I remember in 1990 had 300000 fans turn up, the womens had 40, 40000? No 40 so why not take a big old dump on those 40 people.

While I have no interest in womens football, or the hype surrounding it these days, I really think you are seeing something here thats just not there. Dont most teams do this when they return ?
