What happens with contract if move off network?

Hi,

If I am in a contract with Virgn Media, and I move off network, what happens with the remaining contract?

Do I need to pay for the remain unused contract, even thought I can't get it, for whatever reason?

Hi Gaz,
Providing you are moving to an address within the UK that VM don't cover then yuo should be refunded any early termination fees providing you supply VM with proof of residence.

Beware of the small print though.

They charge you the cancellation fee whatever. Up to you provide proof of residency at the new address within 30 days, which you may or may not have at the time. Only then will they refund it.

Of course you need to provide proof of your new address which is not in a serviceable area. If you are moving, you are moving. You must know where you are going. Charging first, proof to get it back is good business.
Hopefully the next thing they will stop is existing customers pretending they are new customers.
Same price, I say, for all with discounts only for real loyalty = continuous custom.
