Capita PIP Assessors lies and deceit
As some of you may know I recently applied for PIP. I had a assessment date for the 18Th April at 9am.
I received no call and complained the same day. I then had an appointment on the 5th May and received no call I again called to complain and was told it was cancelled and I was not told and they made a new appointment for May 17th. I asked why so long and they made a new appointment for May 10th which happened as expected. Today I received the results of the complaint. The first assessor who did not call was apparently called into a meeting along with her line manager. She had marked it as did not attend saying she tried to call 3 times as per guidelines and if there was a voicemail option she said she would have left one. She then went on to say the Capita call system was not working and used her work mobile but it was so long ago it no longer shows in call history and she could not remember if there was voicemail or not. She apparently has been issued guidance for not following protocol. One assumes the interviewer knew she was lying as tbh it is blatant BS to save her job. The investigation has ended and they have apologised for the stress and offered me a good will gesture of £60. They have ruled and acknowledged. The assessor did not adhere to guidelines They cancelled an appointment without notification Incorrect information was given by an enquiry agent Acknowledge the upset and distress caused Now the point is the first assessor lied stating she made the calls. He has been paid as working on that day when she was not. Had I not complained and this is what makes this as terrible as it is is the fact the claim would have been passed back to the DWP as a none attendance and then possibly cancelled totally. This obviously has happened to others, many of whom would have not complained many of whom would have just given up and some would have been left in a terrible state both mentally and financially and some may have even committed suicide. I personally think this is an abhorrent way to treat people and the system needs to change ---------- Post added at 14:42 ---------- Previous post was at 14:16 ---------- Just to add on my spare phone my recent call log goes back to 2021 and on my newer phone since I bought it last October |

They seem to employ some very skilled liars. Some are even able to write down answers for questions they did not ask, change the answers you gave during the assessment and even refer to the application form of some random person but not yourself.
They appear to bend the rules to suit themselves to get a negative decision. But recently the Decision Makers have been squaring-up to at least the worst of them. But Tribunal staff see through them all, as many cases are reversed by DWP even before a Tribunal date has been set. |

Capita was recently hacked, not once but many times....
BlackBasta, the hackers that stole the data from Capita, published (in April) sections of the files on their Tor site "Basta news" but they deleted them few hours later. Speculation is that Capita (no comment/denial from them) or somebody else bought the files back. Google for Tor links... The astonishing thing is, and I am not pulling your leg, yesterday the government re-warded Capita with over half a billion new contracts https://www.cityam.com/capita-wins-5...r-data-breach/ Medical/Health data of several Councils were found in AwS bins. See above links (there are plenty in Google) --Google your council. And yes, my personal data (NI number, address etc) were confirmed nicked from my pension fund. |

Cheapest gets the contract, always. If they make enough claimants give up in despair, so much the better. The Gov really don't care. Cutting costs for a pre election tax bribe is paramount.
