It's so sad that most of the actors who played the main characters in Hi-de-Hi have now passed with I think just Jeffrey Holland, Nikki Kelly and Su Pollard plus David Griffin, who came in later, are still with us.

Also, amazing to believe that it is now more than 40 years since the series began.

Have spent a few hours in the same hotel with her and husband( not Phillip Madoc ) think he was a rsm but not sure . I can truly say one of the nicest women I have ever met, no side to either of them . RIP Ruth
