Anti Pollution faulty - Peugeot 308
1 Attachment(s)
Before anyone directs me to a Google’d link, I’ve already tried that and have found 9 different answers so I’m hoping any CFers have had experience of anything like this.
I have a 2010 Peugeot 308 Gti which has been running like a dream for the 3 months I’ve had it. The other week a warning message came on the small time/date/diagnostic screen saying “Anti Pollution Fault” and the engine warning symbol on the dashboard had lit up. The car was running fine, no misfiring, noises etc. A few links I found on Google suggested that if I have an OBD II computer (I do) then try plugging it in, making a note of what it says (below) and erasing the fault code then seeing if that makes a difference. I tried that - I erased the code and the warning on the diagnostic screen disappeared and the engine management light went off. I carried on driving and again, the engine has been running smooth. This morning exactly the same thing happened again, also disappearing when I erased the code. Anyone have any ideas what this could be about? |

No expert, but could it be a faulty lambda sensor?
