RIAS and Time to home to renew my insurance
 
I have insurance with RIAS and to renew it I had t call them but they expected me to be put on hold for over 40 minutes which totally unexceptable

Terrible.

My rule is to avoid Mondays and lunchtimes with call centres. Normally first thing is best.

Back in the NTL days if I had to face their call centre I’d get up extra early to make sure I was ready to phone in the moment they opened. It was the only way to avoid an hour-plus wait time.

Phoned them once for a quote , what a nightmare ! Really got engry when I declined his offer , f ing that l had wasted his time , hi it was no way near the best value for money . Glad you were happy with them. But that wait is crazy ,find one that you can set up on line :erm:

Get an online quote, and move provider. I do that almost every year.
