Thank you everyone. I have had a lovely day with family and friends visiting. I have recieved a couple of beautiful pairs of shoes from my darling husband but the highlight was a Spear & Jackson 5ltr Pressure sprayer bought by a friend who knew I coverted his. Sad I know, but at my age you realise that you need something with a bit of attitude in the war against the weeds.

Another, and possibley a close second to my pressure spayer was a humougous Apple pie with a large carton of fresh cream .... and before anyone says anything .... yes I do have some friends with a strange sense of humour. :D

Having a breather before we fire up the BBQ ready for a few eats, and maybe a little G&T. Errrr can you heat up an apple pie over the embers? I do hope so cause it seems a shame not to start being a tad more experimental.
