New street cabinet installations

New cabinets are being installed in the streets in my area usually next to existing Virgin one they are narrower and slightly taller. A company called Comex are doing them.

Does anyone know what they are for?

Most likely FTTP.They are one of the contractors that do the civills for VMO2.
