This is one of my fave series.

Follow Uhtred son on an ancient Saxon King who is taken in by the vikings that killed his Father. He becomes a Viking Warrior but is tied and wants his Kingdom back. Based on Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Stories.

4 seasons already on Netflix final season starts 9th March. IMO this is every bit as good as Vikings

Better, IMO ;)

This started on the BBC who inexplicably dropped it after season 2. Thankfully when Netflix picked it up they didn’t do their usual trick of adding just 1 or 2 more seasons to round off the story, they committed to really going for it and seasons 3 & 4 have been every bit as good as the first two were. I’m really looking forward to season 5. I think I read somewhere they’re planning an additional feature length TV movie to round off the story?

Just watched the Netflix Movie ending 7 Kings Must Die.

Sad to see it conclude. Have loved the series since the beginning and watched it all through numerous time and will watch it all again
