Gutted about this, I saw him in Newport a few years back. Whilst people were queuing up to pay and come in he was out mingling with us all. He came out during the interval too.

Really down to earth and some very funny.

It was only when I heard the sad news this morning, that it clicked in my mind where his stage name came from. And I've known his real name for years.
