Who will buy BT Sport
Who do people think will buy BT Sport or will BT decide not to sell it?

Re: Who will buy BT Sport
DAZN. It’s as close to a done deal as can be without being over the line. BT see fibre investment as a better use of funds and DAZN are desperate to get a foothold in the UK market. As their fledgling Italian operation shows it’s not quite as easy as just winning the rights.

Re: Who will buy BT Sport
Agreed - I think DAZN will buy BT Sport.
If they do, do people think that customers who have the current equivalent of the XL package still be able to access them at no extra charge, and would the names of the channels change, and if so, what to? |
Re: Who will buy BT Sport
We had BT Sport when it first started, at £5 per month.
The it trippled (or quadraplued ?) in price, so we immediately dumped it, never had it since. |
Re: Who will buy BT Sport
I presume the £5/month was an offer given to you as a BT Internet customer?

Re: Who will buy BT Sport
Well I was a BT customer (as in I had a BT line), so maybe, I dont know.
This was all a long time ago now (2014), and we had it for about 18 months. We got it mid season for the FA Cup as I recall, and kept it the whole following season. |
Re: Who will buy BT Sport
Probably, as at that time they were offering BT Sport at the types of prices you paid.
