One Drive Backup

I have a few 1000 pictures on onedrive which i also want to make a local backup to an external hard disk drive.

What would be the easiest way of doing this?

Just copy them ?

We use One Drive at work and it just behaves like a normal drive we can copy to/from.

Yeah, it should be on the left on your file explorer with the other folders and disc drives etc.
