USB-C question
 
A simple and maybe dumb question for some,can a USB-c port from a computer, connected to a DP over USB-c with 60w power delivery run a 25inch monitor? In other words, can it take the place of the monitor's power cord?

I think the USB C on the screen would run power the other way and be usable as a charger for other devices

You can get USB C powered monitors but they're aimed at portable displays

Thanks guys.I just assumed when I read that they can cut down on cable clutter, that it meant it would run a proper monitor, not portable.
