Non functioning Fountain Pen

I have a fountain pen that my boyfriend bought me as a gift 2 years ago for Christmas costing around £50.

The issue is i cannot get ink to flow its as if there's a blockage somewhere. I've tried the usual soaking the nib in luke warm water and also i bought the specific flush for fountain pens to try and unblock and nothing seems to help.

Can anyone else suggest what i could try please?

An ultrasonic cleaning bath comes to mind. A jeweler might be able to help you here.

Is it a reservoir or cartridge type?

I have 9 fountain pens

Many I have added converters, soak the nib in warm water and I have used the converter to push/pull water through it.

There is a "Fountain Pens UK" page on Facebook they do sometimes recommend places to fix pens.

i've managed to get it to go.

Soaked the nib overnight in a combination of flush and Warm Water and then used the converter with that combination. There was a lot of dry ink that came out from the nib that must have been blocking it.

Warm water was always my go to solution.
