M.2 NVME Coolers

Do coolers on NVME drives make a huge difference?

I have a Samsung 970 Pro 1TB that regularly goes into the mid 50*cs and just wondering if i could bring it down a little.

Thanks.

A quick google suggests they do get hotter than mechanical drives but are designed to operate hotter. The consensus seems to be up to around 70c is acceptable but there is probably a range around different models so yours should be fine in the 50's. I did also read that if you attach a cooler make sure it isn't in contact with the flash chip itself or you could damage it.
Edit...it seems it is actively recommended that your particular model shouldn't be cooled.
