Bahrain Grand Prix: Qualifying Highlights

I have a longstanding Series Link for Formula 1 on Channel 4, but I was surprised to see in planned recordings that TiVo had decided that the Sky One show of the same name should be recorded instead, and that I would not want two versions of the same show. I will be working during the day, and I would rather have the Channel 4 show set to record, knowing I could add the Sky One version if I wanted. When I looked at Upcoming in Manage Recordings, it lists both channels as if they are showing the same thing at different times, so naturally, it doesn't record both. But they are really presenting different shows covering the same event. For some reason, it doesn't make the same error for the actual Grand Prix on Sunday, and automatically records both the Channel 4 and Sky One Highlights version, so I can choose which to watch.

Has anyone an opinion why this issue arises?

Is it a wishlist rather than a series link?

Thanks for the reply. No, definitely a Series Link. Maybe I should just delete it and reinstate it and see what happens.

It's working OK for me. Are you sure the series link is set for Channel 4, not "All channels"?

Try recreating the series link. Or as a last resort, a manual recording.

If you select to record the 4HD version, it usually automatically cancels the other recording of the same programme. You could then, if you wanted to, also select to record the Sky one version as well.
