wifi password changed
Hi All
This morning none of my wifi devices could connect to the network. I connected to my superhub using ethernet and checked the wifi settings. The ssid was the same as usual but the password was different from before. I changed the password back to what it was before and the wifi devices connected OK. Has anybody any idea why the password could have changed apparently on its own? John |
Re: wifi password changed
Had password reverted to the default? Maybe something had done system reset?
If concerned I'd change the WiFi password and the hub password over ethernet and reconfig your wireless devices just in case someone was trying something. |
Re: wifi password changed
I got a letter saying there might be interruptions on the network on the 4th
and all my settings were reset on the router annoying but I don't think it's anything to worry about |
Re: wifi password changed
I once had passwords time after time reverting to the default on a Virgin router. Eventually they sent me a new router and all has been well since.
