To be fair we have a sample size of one for that assumption. But as far as we know you can't have life without water.

Scientists are pretty sure water is abundant in the universe though so in that respect it's not as exciting as the fact we know think it's more likely than not that there is basic life on Venus.

Never mind water, can the moon be terraformed into a vineyard? We're successfully changing the climate on Earth, so we're experts.
