Calander instead of Granada Reports.
 

At 6.00 pm tonight instead of receiving the north west regional news on ITV, Granada Reports, I got the Yorkshire regional news programme, "Calendar", on Virgin. I live in Liverpool. Why was this?

I read this happened to someone via Freeview HD too, so it's not a Virgin Media-only problem.

I think it may be related to ITV adding more HD sub-regions. VM probably just need to tweak their sub-regions distribution.

Not the first time this has happened.
From ITV Twitter account...
"Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties we have been unable to bring you tonight’s Granada Reports but you can keep up to date on all your North West news on our website."
This has also happened previously with BBC North West Tonight on occasion, with it defaulting to BBC London.

We have nicer news in God's Own County anyway, so be grateful ;)

Tbh if you want ITV HD over here you end up with Granada News/Weather, which is very depressing and usually very wet !
