Pause tv and broadband payments?

I have been paying for a second Virgin package for my
daughter but she won’t be living at her property for the next 3 months and nobody else lives there. Can I pause the account for that time or is the only option to cancel and then sign up with them again later?

I would cancel and re-sign. I don't think you can pause in these circumstances.

You can pause your entire account for (I think) £5 a month. It's called the Time Out Package. Call Customer Services.

Is there any advantage in doing that, spiderplant?

If you temporarily left, you'd have to give a month's notice, and possibly also pay early disconnect fees. And then when you rejoined, you'd be back in a
new Minimum Period.

Do you still have to wait at least 3 months before you can rejoin?

Not as far as I'm aware. I don't see anything about this in the Ts&Cs.
