Windows run out of drive letters
I have an issue when i have all the drives i use on a continuous basis where i have run out of drive letters in windows 10.
I think i remember reading there is no way around this but i'm hoping someone may read it and someone has come up with a way around it. Thanks. |

Re: Windows run out of drive letters
You only need a few partitions on several drives to run out of letters. Perhaps the OP might take a look at reducing the number of separate partitions using (say) partition magic and re-organising his data storage.

Re: Windows run out of drive letters
You can "mount" drives as folders in windows.
(and have been able to for as long as I can remember). They have never made this very obvious, but it works just fine. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...ath-to-a-drive |

Unless you have a floppy drive installed, A: and B: are not reserved. C: is usually the OS installation drive. D: is not reserved. |
