BB down this evening

I can't believe I am the first person to post this. Pretty much every since 17:30 this evening my connection has gone down and taken about 5 mins to come back up. It is all over the news but they reckon it is mainly down south and I am in the Midlands and I know it is affecting users further up north as well.
