Dissapearing Hard Disk Space
 

Something over the past 48hours has gobbled up 12GB of hard disk space.

I checked Samsung Magician in-case the drive has a fault and no.

Ive tried looking in Win DIR STAT and cant make head nor tail of whats what, anyone have any ideas for me to look into?

Do you have Spotify?

I remember seeing something about Spotify either using a load of space on people's hard drives or it was killing SSD's.

Other than that, possibly game updates, windows updates but you should if you are on Windows 10 go in to the settings and look at the storage and see what is using space there.

Go into Control Panel... Aministrative Tools... Disk Clean-up.

Let it run and follow instructions.

It was taken up by windows update files, i deleted old windows update files and got back 10.8GB.

I have 93GB free on C Drive so now have to be careful, i don't have to install anything else on C, when i do a reinstall if and when i may get a larger NVME drive, im currently using a 512GB.
