Disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault.

Why are we calling him Idisgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein and not just simply saying rapist Harvey Weinstein, he's still getting a level of respect we wouldn't dream of giving other's guilty of the same crime, we don't say disgraced cab driver John Warboys. The only other person I've heard this done with was Levi Bellfield and that was only so the media could have a pop at wheel cpampers!!

He is a rapist pure and simple as perhaps l should have worded the title of the thread better.

It's not just you matey, the news do it all the time, I probably wouldn't have noticed it myself if someone else hadn't commented and said is there anyone who doesn't know who he is or what he's done, that's what got me thinning

It's a good title because he used his position to carry out his rapes and got away with it because of that position.It's also disgraceful that he got away with it for so long.
