Things best not used to get a tax reduction from HMRC
 
Anything that can make me laugh in January is welcome so, knowing that several members have their own companies or are self employed, I thought the following link from HMRC may raise a smile. Personally I love the imaginative claim for a Shih Tzu ‘guard dog’.

Pre online submissions I was tempted to use that one myself when, many years ago, my MIL decided to tidy up my desk and shuffled all my invoices and bank statements then <<<smiled >>>when I asked her Why!!!!

It took me hours to sort everything out and my accountant was not amused by the delay :mad:
