RIP.

A programme which he chaired for 52 years(!) and never missed a programme till recently. It required a laser sharp memory, even without taking his age into consideration. Amazing bloke. RIP.

Sad to see him go.

The difference between his introductions for the place and panellists and that in "I'm sorry I haven't a clue".

And the way he kept the gentle control in Just a Minute.

Very sad... When I saw the title of this thread I thought of the movie DOUBLE JEOPARDY when there is a "Nicholas Parsons" -- I wonder if they were thinking of this nick when they decided to use his name in the movie??

Very sad this Mr Parsons passed away though :(
