Anyone know about Scottish Funding giving a free Boiler to people with disability or certain be benefits , I am not sure if this is a scam,

Thanks for these. I just wondered if it was a scam ,as there are so many stories going about that you pay it through your electricity. I wondered if anyone had used the scheme .

We had a Baxi back boiler replaced by a combi boiler under the Welsh scheme. They also insulated the walls and attic, and fitted TRVs to all the radiators.

The council arranged it all via a Disabled Facilities Grant, so they didn't have to fork out for it. So all free to both me and the council.

And our heating bills plumetted....

Thanks Taff. We had the surveyer out today and he said we should qualify for a free boiler and floor installation because we have DLA, I was just worried incase they said we had to pay it back, I will let you know any more details ,
