Problem calling a mobile

Hi,

My elderly relative can't seem to call me on my mobile, all she gets is static. I've tried calling her landline from my mobile, and that works okay, but not her calling me. Anyone got an idea why this might be happening? Is it a fault with the landline connection? She has two phones in the house and the problem is the same with both of them.

Can they call any other mobiles ok? Or any other landline numbers?

She can call all landlnes, not sure about any other mobiles.
