BBC on Demand to be remove from V+ Boxes
 
Media Boy Sources is reporting that both

  • BBC Ipayer
  • BBC Catch up

will be axe soon on V+ Boxes.

I did not know that until today. That why I launch this thread.

I do not follow Virgin Media Forum. I have not even been on Digital Spy Forum in the last 10 days.

Shame in a way, but totally understandable.

Not that I have a V+ any more, but I much prefer original Red Button to Connected Red Button (aka Red Button+). The new services are too obsessed with video, and large buttons that require lots of scrolling. And you can't read and watch the show on in the background like with the BBCi Bridge.

The BBC News TV app has much improved, but the Sport TV app is an appalling mess of bad screen space use, repeated content. The News TV App team fixed those problems, the Sport TV App are clearly on a long holiday.

I want text information, speed and being able to read them quickly. I know there's less need with tablets/mobiles, but there's still those who prefer it in certain circumstances.
