He played many roles, but sadly will only be remembered for the one, much as Michael Crawford is.

Gave us some great laughs though, back in the days when comedy was actually funny

Obviously its not PC or some peoples tastes but it was a classic series with some great acting and plenty of laughs to boot as well.
