How do I get V6 remote in to RF wireless mode?

My daughter has just had virgin installed, the V6 sits under the TV in AV cabinet but with the cabinet door closed the remote doesn't work so I assume it's in RF mode.
I found a YouTube video which shows it being done on a US Tivo but unfortunately this doesn't work with the V6 :confused:

Thanks Ben that sorted it. As it was working in IR mode I'd assumed it had already been paired :dunce:
