Samsung SL-C410w Laser Printer Issue
Hi Guys i wonder if u can help me out.
Today i did a firmware update on the above printer as i was having a few issues wireless printing which the firmware update was meant to have sorted. Since then the printer will not boot, all i get is 3 flashing lights on the top and thats it, i tried to do a reflash of the firmware and it says its fully upto date. Anyone have any ideas what i can try? Thanks. |
Re: Samsung SL-C410w Laser Printer Issue
I'm guessing you flashed the firmware over a wireless connection. you should never do that you may have bricked it.
Try disconnecting the power supply, hold the start button down for 30 seconds reconnect and reboot. |

Can you contact Samsung support online or does it have a troubleshooting guide in the manual?

Re: Samsung SL-C410w Laser Printer Issue
Can you not access the printer via it web interface?
I did this with my HP printer, it told me loads of stuff, like toner left, pages printed etc ---------- Post added at 18:36 ---------- Previous post was at 18:30 ---------- I'm still trying to set my Laser Printer to Stun :D |

Hom3r good call, its all up and running again thanks.
One word of advice for anyone wanting to flash firmware to a Samsung Printer, don't use the exe file that comes with the printer but instead log into the printer settings and use the built in firmware upgrade wizard. |
